Have Goldwing Will Travel…
Howdy Janet and Ivan, you have an awesome website! I spent some time in Texas (Houston) for work and I travelled a bit around. Sadly only by car but still found the countryside beautiful! 🙂
I’ve been looking around and reading your blog, some great information here, thanks for sharing.
You are welcome… See you down the road…
I have just found your site. Great job; helpful information coupled with the feeling for and a realistic understanding of riding!!. My wife and I are planning a ride from Wisconsin to SW utah at the end of september…and much appreciate the tips. We ride a lowered 2011 H-D Street Glide and love it. We took a ‘training trip’ of 1300+ miles over four days a few weeks ago and learned some of the points you made: keep within your limits; stop and hydrate; don’t overdo it. We are currently planning the route (including checking the weather for each area for the time of year), checking mileage between stops and hotel reservations. My limit says a resounding no to the 80mph interstate through Nebraska and yes to the slower Route 30!
Ride safe.
Thanks a lot Theron, It’s nice to be appreciated. I love to ride and I am always looking for info about riding and I love sharing what I have learned. Please share my blog with friends and fellow riders… I’m learning about blogging too so there is a bit of a learning curve here too. Thanks again hope to see y’all down the road somewhere… Ride safe…
